A rack-mount conversion kit for N1 4-Bay that lets you use almost all of your existing STRXCT N1 4-Bay components. Designed for use with 10" 'mini-racks'. Airflow path is from left to right - please ensure adequate ventilation for moderate-heavy use cases. The assembled rack-mountable server is 2U (88.90mm) in height.

The conversion from desktop to rack-mount takes around 10-15 minutes and is fully reversible if you choose to go back to a desktop microserver configuration.

This product only contains the parts needed to convert your N1 4-Bay to a rack-mountable microserver. If you want the microserver kit, please see N1 4-Bay.

Reuse Your N1 Kit

The conversion kit is designed to use as few new parts as possible. Reuse almost all of your old CFRP panels and braces, motherboard, drives and mounts.

Even your power button gets to stay, but now it's got a spot on the front panel for easy access.

High-Modulus Carbon Fibre Composite Construction

Tough and durable, our additive manufactured carbon fibre polymer composite panels provide peace of mind wherever you take your N1 - even if that means putting it on the rack.

Just like your N1 kit, The use of additive manufacturing also means the conversion kit can be totally customised for your order.

Custom orders are subject to an extra engineering fee.

For connectivity, N1 features 2 × 2.5-Gigabit Ethernet and 3 × 4K display outputs and more. Using SMB multichannel or LAGG, this means you can transfer files at up to 5 Gb/s!

The N1 4-Bay Rack-Mount Conversion kit is made from a single uniform material with fasteners and inserts made from one material respectively. This means it can be easily recycled in most locales.

The N1 4-Bay Rack-Mount Conversion kit is packaged entirely in paper pulp and cardboard, too, for simple recycling.

No single-use plastics here!

What's included in the kit?

This is a self-assembly kit. In the box, you'll receive:

  • CFRP 10" rack-compatible front panel (replaces desktop front panel)
  • Ventilated bottom panel (replaces desktop bottom panel)
  • Landscape-orientation magnetic front fascia panel (replaces portrait-orientation magnetic front fascia panel)
  • Rack-mount screws and cage nuts
Screwdriver(s) are not provided. You will need to provide your own or use the ones that came with your N1 4-Bay Microserver Kit.
You will need to keep all other panels, braces, screws, and other parts from your existing N1 4-Bay as they will be reused in the conversion process.

N1 4-Bay Rack-Mount Conversion Kit is designed and made in Great Britain.

Please Note

This product does not contain the microserver kit and only the panels required to turn your N1 4-Bay from a desktop microserver to a rack-mountable microserver. If you need a microserver kit, you can purchase it with or without the rack-mount kit from this product page.
